French Grey Sea Salt
One of the most versatile and iconic hand-harvested finishing salts, French Grey Sea Salt is traditionally harvested from the clay-lined salt ponds in the Guérande region of France. Beyond being valued for its soft grey color, mineral-rich content, and time-honored harvesting techniques, its moderate moisture content paired with the selection of both all-natural & stone-ground grain sizes provides an unrivaled utility for both commercial kitchens & food manufacturers. The characteristic briny, saline flavor works well in a wide variety of wholesale bulk applications, from roasted nuts to topping baked goods.

Carefully sifted for medium grain consistency, the crystals of Sel Gris Tamisé grain are smaller & more evenly sized than the larger Brut grain. The most recognized grain size iteration of French Salt is ideal in kitchens for use as a finishing salt, for grocery repack projects, or in spice & herb blends.
